For those who love cooking, there will always be a conflict that they may find themselves pondering over: to use homemade spices/flavoring or to use premixed spices?
Mixing your own spices has its own appeal. You control what flavors go into your cooking. This also means that you know what goes into your cooking (something that appeals to those healthy-minded people out there). Mixing your own spices give your cooking the appeal of being completely unique to original or more classic flavor. On the other hand, there's also the challenge of figuring out how to create that genuine flavor of your favorite foods. Mixing your own spices can be a fun process to cooking.
But wait? What about using premixed spices? They're good on their own. Simply, it's an easy way of getting that authentic flavor of whatever it is you're cooking. It also shortens your cooking time. Let's face it, mixing your own spices is time consuming. Hell, even preparing the ingredients is time consuming, so why take up more time by preparing your own spices? It will still be edible, it will still be the same food, and most likely whoever you cooked it (yourself included) will be left satisfied.
So, thinking about which option you prefer? Either way is fine, it's all about how you like it.
Well, that's it folks. This is the last post from me for this blog. It's been fun reporting random food news, and hopefully you didn't go insane reading my posts.
Stay hungry people!
